Job summary

Hopelink in Kirkland, WA seeks a Mobile Food Program Supervisor to coordinate the mobile food market, drive the truck, supervise volunteers, and manage inventory. You’ll ensure safe operations, assist with client intake, and maintain strong community relations.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, driving a 26’ box truck, and coordinating with multiple teams. Paid training is provided, and a full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Desire/ability to work with low-income families and/or volunteers.
• MS Office 365 and MS Outlook skills; timekeeping and program systems; Word and Excel.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Two years’ experience driving a 26’ box truck or similar.
• Clean driving record; at least 5 years driving; valid license.
• Ability to operate forklift and electric pallet jack – training provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multilingual candidates encouraged; Spanish or Russian helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile food market truck: driving, set-up, loading/unloading; report vehicle issues.
• Operate electric pallet-jack, forklift, hand truck.
• Act as program liaison; establish mobile locations; represent Hopelink at events.
• Maintain food inventory and stock rotation.
• Train, organize, supervise volunteers; coordinate with Volunteer department.
• Ensure volunteers are engaged, trained in safety and customer service.
• Resolve issues; provide volunteer training and escalate with Food Program Manager.
• Use inventory database for food data and reports.
• Weekly ordering of fresh and non-perishable food from multiple sources.
