Job summary

Community-Action-Committee-of-Pike-Count is seeking a Mobile Food Pantry Worker to drive and operate the Mobile Food Pantry to food desert areas of Pike County several days per week. You will support food distribution by loading, unloading, inventory, and direct customer service, coordinating with partner agencies to ensure access to nutritious food for vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under agency policy.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Mobile Food Pantry truck 3–4 days per week.
• Load, unload, and stock pantry inventory.
• Provide courteous customer service to clients.
• Assist with PantryTrak data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to serve food desert areas.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Ensure driving safety and vehicle upkeep.
