Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking mechanically skilled techs to join our growing network. You will diagnose, inspect and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers, handling brakes, electrical, A/C, engine and more while maintaining DOT compliance.

We value hands-on problem solving, reliability, and strong customer service, with 3+ years of repair experience and aValid driver's license. Tools provided, CDL not strictly required, with room to advance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Familiar with computers for billing and work orders.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• EPA 608/609/Universal and ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors and trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service parts like tires, hubs, axles, and lift-gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Inspect tractors and trailers to meet the U.S. DOT's road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
