Job summary

Epika Fleet Services, Inc. in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician for on-site repairs and preventative maintenance of commercial trucks and trailers. Independent work, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset are required.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing tractors and trailers on mobile calls or in-yard, inspecting brakes and electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work orders for management. CDL preferred, own tools helpful.

Qualifications

• 4+ years repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work hands-on.
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders and documentation.
• Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated and independent mindset.
• HS diploma or equivalent; technical school degree preferred.
• Your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication
• Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
• Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. DOT road safety requirements
