Job summary

Transwest Mobile Truck Repair in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Mobile Fleet Technician to service medium- and heavy-duty trucks both in shop and on the road, ensuring reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of diesel experience, a clean CDL/DRIVER record, and strong diagnostic skills with wiring diagrams and hydraulic/electrical systems. OSHA/DOT safety standards are followed. A take-home service vehicle and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
• Experience with diagnostic software and laptop-based troubleshooting
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams and schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty trucks
• Troubleshoot engine, electrical, hydraulic, brake and aftertreatment issues
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify issues early
• Maintain records of repairs, parts and maintenance activities
• Respond to service calls for shop and field repairs
• Collaborate with team to improve fleet reliability and reduce downtime
• Stay current with diesel engine and truck technology
• Follow OSHA and DOT safety standards and company policies
