Job summary

Fleet Mobile Maintenance is seeking skilled technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial tractors and trailers. The role requires 5+ years of verified experience and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to lift 100+ pounds and submit repairs via basic computer skills.

You will perform mobile road calls or in-yard work orders, ensure quality service, and maintain fleet components while adhering to safety standards. Weekly pay and bonus opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified experience in commercial tractor and trailer repair.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
• Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' commercial tractors and trailers.
• Write detailed work orders - perform mobile road calls and/or in yard.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi-trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
• Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
• Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensure trailers meet DOT road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
• Respond promptly to client queries.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
• Writing detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service
• Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
• Performing preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi-trucks and trailers
• Maintaining hubs and axles and adjusting or replacing them when required
• Inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires
• Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system
• Testing all systems and equipment for performance issues
• Ensuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.
• Responding as soon as possible to client queries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience.
