Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Tractors and Trailers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers' Commercial Tractors and Trailers
2. Writing detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard
3. Provide quality customer service
4. Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
5. Performing preventative maintenance measures on fleet semi-trucks and trailers
6. Maintaining hubs and axles and adjusting or replacing them when required
7. Inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires
8. Checking and repairing the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems
9. Testing all systems and equipment for performance issues
10. Ensuring that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements
11. Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management
12. Responding as soon as possible to client queries

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

1. 5+ years of verified experience of Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair experience
2. Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
3. Ability to lift 100+ pounds
4. Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing
5. Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
6. Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT:

1. Experience with welding, certification a plus
2. High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical school degree, a plus
3. Class A CDL
4. Your own tools
