Push & Pull Automotive is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors and trailers on site and on the road, delivering prompt, professional service.

You’ll work independently with a CDL or valid license, carry your own tools, follow DOT standards, and keep detailed work orders and safety checks for fleet customers. This role also offers overtime and competitive pay, with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work hands-on.
• Own your own tools; basic computer skills for repairs and documentation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical schooling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors and trailers on mobile road calls and in-yard.
• Deliver prompt, professional service with clear communication.
• Inspect and service brakes, electrical, hydraulic systems, hubs, tires, bodies, and trailer components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment for safe operation.
• Document work orders, inspection reports, and findings for management.
• Maintain DOT-ready standards for road safety.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication
• Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
• Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation
• Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Experience with welding a plus
• Self-motivated and independent mindset
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
