Job summary

Push & Pull Automotive is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to perform on-site repairs and preventative maintenance for commercial trucks and trailers. You’ll work independently on mobile road calls and in-yard service, diagnose issues, and keep customers moving with clear communication.

The role requires 4+ years in heavy-duty repair, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment.
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation.
• Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication
• Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components
• Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements
