Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Fleet Operations Associate to support Zipcar operations city-wide, ensuring cars are clean, maintained, and ready for members. You may change tires, refuel, clean, or coordinate tow/repair to keep vehicles “member-ready.”

You’ll move across town by foot, bike, or Zipcar, working a 40-hour week including varied shifts, outdoors, and collaborating with the operations team to provide timely vehicle status updates.

Qualifications

• Strong time management to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication with operations teams for vehicle status updates.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather and hours.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be the front line of the team; member satisfaction depends on you.
• Ensure vehicles are ready and aligned with Zipcar member needs; coordinate transport and maintenance as required.
