Job summary

Avis Budget Group's Zipcar fleet operations team in Romulus, MI is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate to keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ready for Zipcar members. You will travel around town by foot, bike, transit, or Zipcar to reach cars and support the member experience.

We seek strong time management and clear communication with the operations team, with a 40-hour weekly schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong time management to juggle priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with the operations team for vehicle status updates.
• Ability to work 40 hours weekly including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be the front line of the Fleet Operations Team to keep members satisfied.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained and ready for Zipcar members.
• Coordinate transport of vehicles around town as needed.
