Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Leader to join our management team in Seattle. You will manage a field team of mobile technicians, guiding them through onboarding, coaching, and performance management while driving market growth and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic planning, and a hands-on leadership style to expand service penetration in a dynamic market and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a people leadership role.
• Safe drivers needed; 3 YR MVR review; valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.
• Due to interstate operating authority, candidate must be 21+ years old.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, performance management, and change leadership.
• Proven ability to build engagement, accountability, and drive business outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts in a fast-paced, evolving market.
• Demonstrate urgency, ownership, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct a team of mobile fleet technicians, providing hands-on leadership.
• Establish a high-performance culture through coaching and career development.
• Own market-level performance: productivity, customer satisfaction, revenue growth.
• Monitor metrics, reports, and records to drive improvement and scalable operations.
• Lead growth opportunities and expand customer relationships in new territories.
• Travel to technician and customer locations to strengthen relationships and quality.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align operations with growth strategy.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, regulatory standards, and cost management.
• Onboard technicians with equipment, access to systems, and documentation.
• Lead onboarding and ramp-up of new technicians for market expansion.
• Conduct safety audits and QCIs to reinforce safety culture and performance.
• Develop and adhere to monthly budgets; manage financial performance.
• Define and execute market-specific growth strategies with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services and sales to maximize utilization and revenue.
• Assign and coordinate work to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Champion safety culture and best practices across the team.
• Provide operational guidance and cross-functional problem solving.
• Serve as liaison between Cox Fleet and clients; build trust and solutions.
