Job summary

Ag-Com LLC is seeking an experienced Road Service Technician to join our field service team in Elizabethtown, PA. You will operate a company-provided truck and diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and heavy equipment across our service area.

The ideal candidate has substantial mechanical repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service on-site at farms and job sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical or equipment repair experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully equipped road service truck.
• Diagnose and repair agricultural and heavy equipment at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and mechanical components.
• Perform emergency breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance in the field.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues and repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with service and parts departments to obtain parts and information.
• Document labor hours, travel time, parts usage, and repair details.
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle.
• Represent Ag-Com professionally at farms, construction sites, and customer facilities.
• Assist with shop repairs and service work when field demand allows.
