Vermeer Midwest in Goodfield, IL is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to service heavy equipment across the Central Illinois region. This full-time, day-shift role involves travel in a company-provided service truck, diagnosing and repairing machinery, and performing preventive maintenance.

You should have 2-5 years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, CDL Class A or ability to obtain one, and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience repairing heavy-duty vehicles or equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and welding.
• CDL Class A or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel locally and work independently.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
