Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain retail store technologies and computer systems in customer sites. You will perform installations, repairs, and on‑premises service across Toshiba and non‑TOSHIBA products, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to procedures.

The role requires travel within territory with flexible shifts including overtime and weekends, and the ability to troubleshoot, document work, and communicate with store management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of related experience; IT/Technical degree or certificate preferred.
• Must be able to travel 100% of the time domestically and/or by air; may be assigned to a local territory.
• Operational knowledge of personal computer technology, network infrastructure, flat panel TVs & monitors, cash registers/point‑of‑sale equipment.
• General knowledge and experience in wall‑to‑wall IT service and support.

Responsibilities

• Operate in assigned territory and perform repairs and services on products; install all equipment in new/remodeled sites independently.
• Travel within assigned territory or nationally to customer locations for installations or service delivery projects.
• Effectively communicate with customers and management regarding status and satisfaction; build positive relationships.
• Plan, prioritize and schedule work; arrange travel plans cost-effectively; accommodate schedule changes and overtime.
• Ensure installation activities are documented in accordance with Toshiba standards using automated systems.
