Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships. The role requires 100% nationwide travel with overnight stays and possible weekend/international trips.

Pay range: $27.94 - $44.24 per hour. You will work closely with customers to ensure equipment operates within tolerance, provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support, and train customers onsite on operation and repairs.

Qualifications

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance.
• Provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support and management.
• Assemble, install, align equipment and replace or install parts to maintain operation.
• Report technical conditions and information of machines to PSG and management.
• Interface with cross functional teams such as applications, sales, engineering, production.
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair of machines.
• Submit organized service reports for each repair mission.
