TRUMPF, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines across the nation.

The role requires frequent travel, including overnight and international trips as needed, and involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams. Candidates should have an associates/technical degree or equivalent experience and be able to read manuals and use diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building and developing strong customer relationships.
• Work with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance.
• Provide diagnostic feedback to Product Support and management using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Assemble, install, align equipment, replace or install parts for smooth operation of machinery.
• Report technical conditions and information of machines to PSG and management.
• Interface with cross functional teams such as applications, sales, engineering, production.
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair of machines.
• Submit organized and helpful service reports for each repair mission.
