Job summary

Epika Fleet Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Field Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair construction, aerial, and dirt equipment on-site with minimal supervision.

You will travel to job sites, use diagnostic tools, and provide safe, superior customer service while maintaining equipment in the field. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technician experience, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to pass a background check, drug test, and other prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics.
• Ownership of tools applicable to the position.
• Strong teamwork, verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment; aerial equipment experience a plus
• Strong mechanical background, including various engine types, hydraulic and electrical systems, and construction equipment
• Experience using diagnostic tools and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Ownership of tools applicable to the position
• Strong teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
• Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority
• High school diploma and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Must have an acceptable MVR
