Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites. You will ensure timely service, operate vehicles in compliance with safety standards, and support onboarding and training of new team members.

You may assist with lead responsibilities and coordinate with site superintendents to complete tickets efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
Valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL Class C).
Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Inspect tools daily to ensure safety and proper working condition.
Check loads to ensure truck has all material (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools.
Perform daily pre-shift vehicle inspection and report deficiencies.
Operate fence vehicle to and from work sites.
Unload fence materials and install panels at work site per specifications.
Coordinate workload and efforts of the Fence Helper; inspect progress.
Meet with site superintendent to confirm work order and communicate changes.
Record personnel, production and operational data; submit to Fence Manager.
Train Fence Helpers on installation procedures and safety; assist lead technician as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
