Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Ground Paramedic to deliver emergency medical services at sporting events, concerts, and other special events in Murray, Utah. You will operate ambulances, assess and stabilize patients, and coordinate with hospital and public safety teams in dynamic settings.

Ideal candidates have completed a paramedic program and are prepared to obtain/state licensure within 120 days. A strong focus on teamwork, communication, and documentation is essential to success in this

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Paramedic course.
• Must obtain Paramedic license in state of operation within 120 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Current valid driver license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
• Safely drives and operates ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
• Transports patients to appropriate medical facilities while ensuring their safety and stability.
• Maintains effective communication with dispatch, hospital staff, police, fire personnel, and other necessary parties.
• Accurately completes and maintains Patient Care Reports, files, and forms.
• Cleans and maintains medical equipment, vehicles, and living quarters.
• Participates in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain paramedic certification and stay current with medical protocols.
• Provides supervision and ensures the quality and accuracy of care provided by EMTs and other emergency personnel.
• Provides patient education on various health topics, including disease management and prevention.
