Job summary

Haulotte North America Manufacturing is seeking a Test & Validation Engineer in Archbold, OH to plan and execute product validation, durability, reliability, and performance testing across aerial work platforms and related equipment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in testing/validation within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, and experience with data acquisition and instrumentation. Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing, validation, product development, or a related engineering role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience with mobile equipment preferred (aerial work platforms, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, material handling equipment, heavy trucks/vehicles).
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, validation procedures, and performance evaluations for new and existing products.
• Conduct durability, reliability, functional, and performance testing on prototype and production equipment.
• Analyze test results and recommend product improvements.
• Investigate product issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain testing methodologies, procedures, and validation protocols.
• Maintain testing equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to project teams.
• Ensure products meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the design and improvement of test benches, equipment, and laboratory capabilities.
