Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain and repair light construction equipment at stores and customer sites near Wilmington, NC. You will conduct routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and complete work orders with attention to safety and quality.

Schedule is Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm with every 3rd Saturday; must reside within 50 miles of Wilmington. Travel is occasional, with potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Must meet DOT medical certification requirements.
• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing construction equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Train store associates and customers on equipment operation and safety.
• Maintain MEWP certifications and inventory across locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment.
• Plan visits and service priorities with regional management.
• Document all work performed using the company platform.
• Respond to service calls and order parts as needed.
• Assist with equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Comply with all federal safety regulations.
