Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain and repair light construction equipment at stores and nearby job sites within the Fresno area. You will perform preventive maintenance, document unit status, and complete work orders under regional supervision.

The role requires safety compliance, MEWP certifications, and the ability to train store associates and customers on equipment operation. Occasional travel and support for deliveries are included.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• DOT medical certification requirements.
• Experience servicing construction equipment preferred (preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate in extreme outdoor conditions.
• Must reside within 20 miles of Fresno, CA.

Responsibilities

• Train store associates and customers on proper operation and safety procedures for equipment.
• Maintain a fleet of rental equipment at store locations or customer sites with emphasis on preventive maintenance.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance at each store.
• Respond to service calls and order parts as needed.
• Document all work using the company technology platform.
