Job summary
RFA Engineering is seeking a growth oriented Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Engineering Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This role provides engineering analysis support for the design and development of off highway and mobile equipment systems.
The selected candidate will work as part of a collaborative engineering team, applying simulation based methods to evaluate structural performance, durability, and reliability of mechanical components and assemblies.
Qualifications
- BS degree in mechanical or related field.
- Experience with structural or mechanical analysis.
- Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS or NX Nastran.
- Experience with 3D CAD: Creo or SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis using finite element methods for mobile/off‑highway equipment.
- Conduct linear/nonlinear static, dynamic, and modal analyses with ANSYS/NX Nastran.
- Perform fatigue/durability evaluations using dedicated tools.
- Develop analysis plans and document assumptions and results.
- Collaborate with design teams and support test planning.
