Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator I to join our Fredonia, KY operations. This full-time, hourly role transports materials around the quarry and supports loading and active material blending on site.

You will operate a range of heavy equipment, perform routine inspections, and ensure safety protocols are followed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for quarry experience; overtime, weekend shifts, and shifting are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write (High School Diploma or GED required).
• Experience in varying weather conditions; quarry experience preferred.
• Experience operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers, and fuel truck.
• Operate mobile equipment as required (front end loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators, dredge, skid steer).
• Inspect equipment each shift and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards; report if unable to fix.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Take accurate counts of material additions as required.
• Communicate needs to quality, safety and production teams.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
