Gerdau in the United States is seeking a Safety-driven Mobile Equipment Operator I (MR) to manage crane operations, scrap processing, and yard logistics. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.

You will load/unload trucks and railcars, prepare scrap to spec, and perform inspections and preventive maintenance. Strong problem-solving and collaboration are essential to uphold Gerdau’s safety and environmental standards.

Safety-driven operator with hands-on experience running mobile cranes, magnet cranes, and shears to process and move scrap materials efficiently. Supporting daily yard operations by loading and unloading trucks and railcars, preparing scrap to spec, and maintaining equipment through inspections and preventive maintenance. Must have strong teamwork, problem-solving, and a commitment to Gerdau’s safety, environmental, and core values.
