Job summary

Quality Talent Group has partnered with a major industrial quarry company to hire a Heavy Equipment Operator. The role focuses on operating haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers and fuel truck, and ensuring smooth daily quarry operations.

You will inspect equipment, report issues, and address malfunctions while prioritizing safety and production needs in varying weather conditions. Prior experience with heavy machinery and a strong work ethic are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in varying weather elements.
• Experience operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakers and fuel truck.
• Operating mobile equipment depending upon quarry operational requirements.
• Inspect all operating equipment each shift and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards.
• Communicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.
