Job summary

Quality Talent Group is recruiting for a heavy equipment operator role within a building materials quarry environment in the United States. The role involves operating haul trucks, water trucks, rock breakers and fuel trucks, with responsibilities to inspect equipment, report issues and address safety hazards.

The ideal candidate brings experience in varying weather conditions, a strong work ethic, and ability to maintain and troubleshoot heavy gear across shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in varying weather elements.
• Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Primary operations of haul trucks; water trucks, rock breakers and fuel truck.
• Operating mobile equipment depending upon quarry operational requirements.
• Inspect all operating equipment each shift and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment and safety hazards.
• Communicate all safety, maintenance and production needs.
