Mobile Equipment Operator 1 (Finance)
This role involves operating heavy equipment such as knuckleboom, wheel loader, or front-end loader. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment like loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other industrial machinery.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, sort, and transport material following safety, quality, environmental, and production standards.
- Move materials to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, storage areas, and other locations accurately.
- Operate levers and pedals to drive trucks and control lifting apparatus.
- Position forks, lifting platforms, or other devices to load and transport pallets, skids, boxes, or materials.
- Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
- Participate in and understand the importance of bin/sku management principles.
- Follow FIFO inventory management practices.
- Assist in physical inventories as needed.
- Help move treatment charges for storage, loading, and unloading.
- Assist in maintenance and servicing of mobile equipment, including inspections, fueling, safety checks, and cleaning.
- Train peers in equipment operation.
- Document and report mechanical issues and maintenance needs.
- Contribute to the company safety program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating mobile heavy equipment, preferably in wood products industry. Must have front-end loader or tractor experience.
- PIE certification required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Ability to follow simple instructions with common sense.
