Job summary

Rinker Materials in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our plant team. You will operate front-end loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and haul trucks to move materials within the facility, load raw materials, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and prior experience in manufacturing or construction. Outdoor work and reliable attendance are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and haul trucks to transport materials within the plant.
• Load and unload raw materials (e.g., sand, gravel, cement) and finished concrete products.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely, following all safety guidelines and plant protocols.
• Perform routine pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or mechanical issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards.
• Assist in other plant operations as needed, including production and general labor tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material movement and resolve operational issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

As a mobile equipment operator with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.
