Job summary

CRH seeks a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, loaders, skid steers, and tractor trailers. You will work safely indoors and outdoors as required.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, and following schematics and repair manuals. You will use a variety of hand and power tools and hoists to complete tasks.

Qualifications

• At least two years of mobile equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• OSHA-10 certification is a plus (training can be provided).
• Ability to work independently and in a team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure mobile equipment runs smoothly.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair mobile equipment.
• Maintain special purpose machines and diagnose mechanical/electrical issues.
• Use schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs to determine fixes.
• Operate hand and power tools; inspect motors, belts, fluids, filters.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts with hoists and tools.

Job Summary

As a Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of mobile equipment which includes forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, front-end loaders, skid steers, and tractor trailers. The successful candidate must be able to work safely indoors and occasionally outdoors.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that mobile equipment continues to run smoothly
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair of mobile equipment
• Maintenance of special purpose machines
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Determine how to correct issues utilizing schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, cut, change parts and complete tasks as assigned
• Inspect motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, utilizing PM checklists
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools and power tools
• Basic knowledge and troubleshooting related to electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• Physical requirements include lifting to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, working indoors and outdoors
• Able to perform job tasks in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to function occasionally in a team environment, with a proven track record of contributing toward team goals
• Ability to operate mobile equipment as necessary
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience
• OSHA-10 certification a plus but certification can be provided
• At least two years of mobile equipment maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment

Compensation

• The hourly pay is $28-$30 based on experience
