Ford Motor Company’s EVDD team seeks a customer-centric Mobile Engineering Manager who embraces lean and agile practices to lead high-quality mobile experiences for millions of drivers worldwide.

You will guide mobile engineers, partner with product owners and designers, set technical direction, and foster an inclusive culture focused on delivery, reliability, and scaling iOS and Android apps. This leadership role targets impact across Ford’s global mobility initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mobile engineers delivering customer-facing applications.
• Provide technical leadership from conception through production.
• Review product designs, architectures, and engineering approaches.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging mobile technologies, tools, and practices.
• Establish standards for documentation, code quality, testing, and operations.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver customer value.
• Foster collaborative, inclusive engineering culture focused on learning and ownership.
