Ford Motor Company’s EVDD team is seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead a world-class mobile group delivering customer-facing apps used by millions.

You will partner with product owners, designers, and engineering leaders to set technical direction, uphold quality, and ship reliable, scalable experiences early and often.

This leadership role focuses on building an inclusive culture, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence across iOS and Android platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale engineering teams and organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering required; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop mobile engineers delivering customer-facing applications used by millions.
• Provide technical leadership from conception through production to ensure scalable, reliable experiences.
• Review designs, architectures, and engineering approaches.
• Evaluate emerging mobile technologies, tools, and practices.
• Establish standards for documentation, code quality, testing, and operations.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to align priorities and deliver value.
