Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an experienced native mobile engineer to own end-to-end development for iOS and Android apps reaching millions of daily users. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver seamless, performant interfaces and robust offline-first architectures.

The role requires mastery of Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, plus strong knowledge of MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years dedicated to native iOS or Android mobile development.
• Proven mastery of Swift and SwiftUI or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with multiple published apps in App Store or Google Play.
• Strong understanding of mobile architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and reactive programming frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile deployment (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, App Center, Bitrise).

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced native mobile applications for iOS using Swift and Android using Kotlin, ensuring high performance across devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and real-time WebSockets to synchronize user data and handle offline-first caching strategies.
• Optimize application memory usage, battery consumption, and rendering performance using native profiling tools like Instruments and Android Profiler.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and UI testing suites using XCTest, Espresso, and Appium within CI pipelines.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional planning to uphold high engineering standards.

The engineering team collaborates closely with product managers and designers to deliver seamless, performant user interfaces and robust offline-first architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced native mobile applications for iOS using Swift and Android using Kotlin, ensuring high performance across devices
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and real-time WebSockets to synchronize user data and handle offline-first caching strategies
• Optimize application memory usage, battery consumption, and rendering performance using native profiling tools such as Instruments and Android Profiler
• Implement automated unit, integration, and UI testing suites using XCTest, Espresso, and Appium within continuous integration pipelines
• Participate in rigorous code reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional planning to uphold high engineering standards

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years dedicated to native iOS or Android mobile development
• Demonstrated mastery of Swift and SwiftUI or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with multiple published apps in the App Store or Google Play
• Solid understanding of mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture and reactive programming frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile deployment, including Fastlane, GitHub Actions, App Center, or Bitrise
• Bonus: Cross-platform experience with React Native or Flutter, familiarity with GraphQL, and contributions to open-source mobile libraries
