Job summary

Expedia Group invites you to join the 2027 Global Summer Internship Program as a Mobile Engineering Intern in Seattle. You will design, build, and test mobile features for iOS and Android while learning through a mix of in-person and virtual sessions, mentor-led guidance, and intern-specific events.

This paid internship offers exposure to real projects, cross‑functional collaboration, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be available for the full program dates: U.S.A: May 24th – July 30th or June 21st – August 27th.
• Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Must be willing to relocate to the city of the job location if outside commuting distance and be graduating from a university in the same country as the internship location.
• Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile application components and services for iOS and/or Android.
• Implement clean, maintainable mobile code with unit testing and code reviews.
• Participate in API design and data modeling for mobile features.
• Collaborate with mentors, designers, and cross‑functional partners to ensure high‑quality mobile UX.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to improve app performance and reliability.
• Learn to work with AI‑driven systems and AI/ML-enabled workflows.
