Job summary

Expedia Group invites aspiring mobile engineers to join their global internship program as a Mobile Engineering Intern. You will design, implement, and iterate on mobile features for iOS and Android, collaborating with mentors and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must graduate between December 2027 and July 2028 in a technical field (e.g., CS, IT).
• Must be available May 24–July 30 or June 21–August 27.
• Must relocate if outside commuting distance and graduate from a university in the same country as the internship location.
• No more than 2 years of professional experience.
• Helpful: familiarity with automated tests.
• Helpful: knowledge of data structures, algorithms and iOS/Android development.
• Helpful: effective communication skills and ability to engage with a variety of partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile application components for iOS and/or Android.
• Implement clean, maintainable mobile code with unit testing and code reviews.
• Participate in low-level system design, API design, and data modeling for mobile features.
• Collaborate with mentors, designers, and cross-functional partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply data structures and algorithms to improve app quality and performance.
• Learn to work with AI-driven systems and incorporate AI/ML concepts within defined scope.
