Job summary

Expedia Group is hiring a Mobile Engineering Intern in San Jose to design, develop, and test mobile app components for iOS and Android. You will work with a team to implement scalable features, participate in code reviews, and learn AI-driven workflows within a supportive, mentor-led environment.

Qualifications

• Must be graduating with an undergraduate or master’s degree in a technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology) between December 2027 and July 2028.
• No more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Willing to relocate to the city of the job location if outside commuting distance and be graduating from a university in the same country as the internship location.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mobile application components and services on iOS and/or Android.
• Implement clean, maintainable mobile code with unit testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with mentors, designers, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality mobile UX.
• Apply data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving to improve app quality and performance.
• Learn to work with AI-driven systems and safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions within guidance.
