Vanlife Customs in Arvada, Colorado is seeking an Electrical Systems Technician to build and install electrical systems in Ford Transit and Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter vehicles, working with Victron Energy and other premium equipment. Extensive hands-on training will develop your technical aptitude, problem solving and safety awareness, even if you don’t have van-building experience.

This full-time role pays $28–$38 per hour, with health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and employee

Qualifications

• Must be technically curious and detail oriented.
• Willing to learn and be trained extensively.
• Hands-on with wiring and electrical systems.
• Team player with safety mindset.
• Experience in automotive electrical or marine systems would help.

Responsibilities

• Build and install electrical systems in Ford Transit and Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter vehicles.
• Work with Victron Energy, Wakespeed and other premium equipment.
• Install lithium batteries, inverters, solar charging and 12V/24V/48V DC equipment.
• Learn to configure, test and commission sophisticated electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Produce clean, organized, reliable installations with safety and quality in mind.
• Collaborate with design, production and service teams on projects.
