Job summary

Hawthorne-Health seeks a traveling echocardiography professional to perform point-of-care cardiac ultrasound visits at patient homes across a local region. You will operate portable ultrasound devices, obtain informed cooperation, and conduct adult and pediatric echocardiograms.

Responsibilities include ensuring image quality, labeling for cardiology review, and compiling preliminary reports with measurements. Prior ASE guidelines, you will troubleshoot equipment as needed and travel locally.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI.
• AE certification for Adult echocardiography.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms per protocol on adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
