Job summary

Sevita, including Mentor Community Services, seeks a Direct Support Professional Mobile to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. The role focuses on independence, safety, and daily living skills, with a wage of $18/hr and opportunities for part-time schedules.

Based in community settings and working with clinical staff, you will help plan and implement therapeutic goals, support transportation, and assist with medication administration as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing REQUIRED.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance REQUIRED.
• Background checks cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and support in the community: outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
• Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation and medication administration.
• Guide developmental goals such as community participation, budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational activities.
• Help individuals served with living skills like personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors.
