Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and collect blood components from donors in accordance with FDA and AABB standards. You will ensure high-quality donor care and safety on mobile units or fixed sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors and staff.
• Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to use basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical history and vitals from donors and/or patients.
• Performs phlebotomy and collection procedures to collect blood or blood components.
• Displays excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers.
• Assists with the recruitment of potential apheresis, and bone marrow donors.
