Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• 5+ years of Trailer Mechanic experience.
• 5+ years of Trailer Body experience.
• 3+ years of vendor/client relations.
• 3+ years inventory experience.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand operating manuals and service manuals.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and non-routine repairs to fleet to meet DOT standards.
• Diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Suspension and steering diagnostics and repair.
• Air and hydraulic braking diagnostics and repair.
• Electrical and lighting diagnostics and repair.
• Repair cooling systems and APU components.
• Repair or retrofit refrigeration units (ThermoKing/Carrier).
• Preventable maintenance on tractor-trailer and trailer repairs.
• Oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Order parts and maintain inventory; keep shop clean and organized.
