Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to service and repair trucks at customer locations in Henderson, KY. The role involves operating a mobile service truck, performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics with a focus on safety and customer service.

The position runs Monday to Friday on the day shift, with a possible on-call rotation every four weeks. CDL and ASE certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Preventative Maintenance experience or background required.
• Preferred Diesel program certificate or degree.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair work: engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes.
• Troubleshooting and inspections.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance.
• Strong computer and verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and on site at customer locations.
• Operate mobile service truck daily (truck may be taken home).
• Maintain adherence to health and safety rules.

Mon-Fri: Day Shift Schedule

Potential On Call Schedule (Rotation every 4 weeks)

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Preventative Maintenance
• Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location
• Will operate mobile service truck daily (can take truck home)
• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus
• ASE Certifications a plus

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required
• Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program
