Job summary

French Ellison Truck Center in Pharr, TX seeks Mobile Diesel Mechanics to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy and medium duty trucks at client sites. Candidates should have 5 years of HD truck maintenance experience and be certified in at least two major brand products.

You will stock service trucks, use diagnostic equipment, write repair orders, communicate with customers, and collaborate with parts and other technicians. Overtime may be required in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles at client’s site or breakdown location.
• Troubleshoots systems including electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension; identifies repairs and acts.
• Writes a clear, detailed repair description on the repair order including cause of failure and procedures.
