Job summary

Pliler International - Longview is hiring a mobile service technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty trucks across East Texas and Northwest Louisiana.

You will work from a company mobile service truck, travel to customer sites, and handle after-hours service as needed. Ideal candidates bring diesel/truck experience, strong communication, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or truck technician.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing medium- or heavy-duty trucks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel to customer locations.
• CDL/ASE/DOT certifications and dealership or fleet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations throughout East Texas and Northwest Louisiana.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical information.
• Repair systems including brakes, electrical, air systems, suspension, steering, HVAC, cooling, starting and charging, drivetrain, and aftertreatment.
• Respond to scheduled service calls and on-call service requests.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle concerns and recommended services.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and dealership team.
• Complete repair orders documenting labor, parts, inspections, and repairs.
