Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy duty trucks.

You will test drive customer trucks, assess malfunctions, and plan efficient actions to maximize uptime, while delivering quality workmanship and keeping repairs within OEM guidelines. We offer a competitive hourly wage, a sign-on bonus after 90 days, relocation assistance for qualified candidates, and benefits including a monthly efficiency

Qualifications

3+ years mobile diesel truck mechanic experience.
Experience with Cummins, Detroit, and CAT engines is a plus.
ASE certifications and OEM training are a plus, but we are willing to train you!

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and electrical; repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines and other parts.
Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results to offer solutions.
Test drive repaired vehicles to gauge performance and complete oil changes and brake checks.
