Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced on-site diesel and trailer technicians in San Diego, CA. The role involves performing repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at client locations, with DOT-related documentation and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device; obtain parts and manage inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
