Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment seeks a skilled diesel technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment, on-site at customer locations. The role requires inspecting vehicles, changing fluids, greasing components, and diagnosing issues while upholding safety standards and completing documentation.

Qualifying candidates typically have 5+ years of diesel experience, a valid Class A CDL (or the ability to obtain within 60 days), and a high school diploma or GED;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel experience
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days
• Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED preferred
• Automotive certification desirable

Responsibilities

• Inspect trucks and/or equipment for condition and fluid levels
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on trucks/equipment on site at customer locations
• Check and change fluids for engine, transmission, differentials, final drives, and hubs
• Grease, oil, and lubricate components
• Conduct cooling system maintenance and replace filters
• Identify and diagnose problems and document work performed
• Complete required paperwork and timesheets and maintain safety compliance
