Job summary

Gordon Truck Centers, Freightliner Northwest in Lynnwood, WA is seeking Mobile/Field Service Diesel Technicians to perform on-road and customer on-site maintenance, diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks.

You will read schematics, run diagnostics, and ensure safety; CDL-A is a plus; valid DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain; three years of truck repair experience required; company offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of heavy equipment dealership experience preferred.
• Three years of actual truck repair experience required.
• Valid driver's license and be insurable; CDL-A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
• Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness of the mobile service truck.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
