A leading transportation services company in Parkland, WA is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in heavy truck maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel vehicles. Job description

An outstanding full-time opening has become available for a Diesel Mechanic in the greater Parkland, WA area. This opportunity is ideal for a technician who is familiar with medium to heavy-duty box trucks, fleet vehicles, pick-ups etc. This position earns a generous base salary, PTO, and other fantastic perks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild and/or test Medium to Heavy Diesel vehicles
• Communicate directly with customers / drivers to resolve issues and plan repairs
• Determine parts required for repairs
• Keep accurate records related to repairs, rebuilds, and testing of truck fleets
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Qualifications

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 3+ years of Heavy Truck / Diesel maintenance experience.
• Familiarity working with Gasoline trucks, fleet vehicles, box trucks w/ liftgates is a MUST.
• Flexibility with being on-call afterhours rotation (rotates weekly amongst other technicians) is a MUST.
• Good Driving history for Road Service calls is a MUST.
• ASE Certifications PREFERRED.
